Semolina cake with cherries in a multicooker
Description
The recipe will not take much time. For preparation I use a Redmond multicooker with a 3-litre inner pot. In the ingredients I listed frozen cherries, but fresh pitted berries work just as well. If you like, you can dust the finished semolina cake with a little icing sugar. Serve cooled or slightly warm.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

It is very convenient to prepare all the ingredients at once. There is no need to thaw the cherries.
- 2
Step 2

Crack the eggs into a bowl and add sugar.
- 3
Step 3

Mix these ingredients with a mixer for about 1 minute until you get a fluffy mass.
- 4
Step 4

Add kefir and baking soda to the egg mixture. Whisk these ingredients together.
- 5
Step 5

Add all the semolina.
- 6
Step 6

Mix with a whisk.
- 7
Step 7

Add frozen cherries to this mixture and stir everything again with a spoon.
- 8
Step 8

Line the bottom of the multicooker inner pot with a round piece of baking parchment sized to match your pot, then spread all the batter for the mannik on top. Put the filled pot into the multicooker and leave it undisturbed for 30 minutes so the semolina can swell. After half an hour, turn on the multicooker with the lid closed, select the “Bake” mode, set 50 minutes, and wait for the beep signaling the end of the program.
- 9
Step 9

Remove the finished mannik from the bowl, let it cool completely, and only then serve it at the table, cut into pieces.
- 10
Step 10

Done. Serve at the table.
