Prepare all the ingredients.

In a deep bowl combine the grain, kefir, and sugar. Mix and let it sit for 30 minutes.

Add the flour.

Mix everything again. Add butter and baking soda.

Mix the dough until it reaches a uniform consistency.

Divide the dough into two equal parts. Add cocoa to one, and the same amount of flour to the other.

Grease the baking dish with butter and sprinkle with semolina. Add 2–3 tbsp of light batter. In the middle on top, place 2–3 tbsp of dark batter. Then again 2–3 tbsp of light batter.

Do this alternately until the dough runs out.

Take a toothpick and run it over the dough from the center outward in different directions. You can create your own design. Bake in the oven at 200 degrees for about 30‑40 minutes.
