Semolina cake with kefir
Description
The baking is simple and quick. You must soak the semolina in kefir so that it swells beforehand and doesn't remain raw in the cake. All ingredients are mixed together, and I bake the cake either in a multicooker or in the oven. The first option seems more convenient to me. Try it yourself, but first read my recipe carefully. Serve warm or chilled. Perfect with tea.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

First of all, prepare all the ingredients that we will need to make the semolina cake with kefir.
- 2
Step 2

Combine semolina and kefir in a deep container. It's best if the kefir is at room temperature (not cold). Let it sit for 40–60 minutes.
- 3
Step 3

Now add the raw eggs and mix everything thoroughly using a whisk. You can also use a mixer, but it's possible to manage by hand as well.
- 4
Step 4

Add the flour, baking soda quenched with vinegar, and melted butter; mix the dough until smooth. No lumps should remain—this will affect the final baked product!
- 5
Step 5

Now add sugar and cinnamon, mix well — and the dough is ready!
- 6
Step 6

Grease the multicooker bowl with vegetable or butter. Pour the prepared batter into it. Bake the semolina cake in "Baking" mode for 50 minutes.
- 7
Step 7

Carefully remove it from the mold and let it cool completely. The kefir semolina cake is ready!
