
Mango tea
Description
Choose a ripe mango; it should be slightly soft when pressed and smell sweet and delicious. If you prefer opaque drinks, you can blend the mango pulp in a blender and then add it to the brewed tea. This tea is especially delicious chilled and served with ice cubes during summer.

Prepare the listed ingredients. You can use any tea: bagged or loose-leaf.

Wash the mango in water and cut it in half. Remove the pit and peel off the skin. Cut the flesh into small cubes and place them into a teapot. If desired, you can puree the flesh with a blender or in a food processor.

Add granulated sugar to the teapot. If you prefer not to use sugar, replace it with flower honey or another sweetener. When using honey, add it to tea that has cooled to 35 degrees Celsius. This way, honey will retain its beneficial properties.

Bring water to a boil in a kettle and place a tea bag or loose tea leaves into the teapot. Pour in the boiling water and gently stir the contents. Cover the teapot with a lid and let it steep for 8–10 minutes. Then remove the tea bag.

Strain the drink through a sieve or use a press filter.

Pour the mango tea into cups and serve warm. In summer, the drink can be cooled and chilled in the refrigerator, then served in tall glasses with ice.
