
Mom's Buns
Description
Delicious baked goods for the whole family. The classic version of sweet buns is familiar to many, but I'll show you how to make them not just with sugar, but also with a filling. In this case, apples are used, but you can come up with something else. Tender yeast dough, tasty filling, and an interesting twist as a decoration... it's hard to pass by such pastries without stopping, isn't it? :) Try making this recipe at home—you and your loved ones will be delighted. Serve warm or chilled. Perfect with tea.

1. To prepare the dough, put sugar and yeast into a deep bowl. Pour in warm water and let it sit for about 10 minutes. Then add salt.

3. Pour in odorless vegetable oil.

4. Knead a smooth dough, roll it into a ball and leave it in a warm place, covered with a towel or plastic wrap, for about an hour.

5. Meanwhile, prepare the filling. Peel the apples and cut them into small cubes. Place the apples in a high-sided frying pan, add butter and sugar to taste.

6. Let it simmer for 10-15 minutes, until the apples become soft.

7. For flavor, add cinnamon to the filling, gently mix, and after a couple of minutes, remove from heat.

8. When the dough has risen, transfer it to the work surface.

9. Divide into 10-12 equal parts.

11. Place the filling in the center, carefully cut off a piece of dough.

16. Repeat the process with all the remaining pieces of dough. Place the future buns on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and let them rise for 15–20 minutes.

17. Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 190 degrees. Beat the egg in a small bowl, add milk, and brush the buns with the mixture using a pastry brush.
