Lightly Salted Pattypan Squash

Description

A preservation recipe without unnecessary complications. I want to tell you how to make lightly salted pattypan squash at home. The appetizer turns out moderately crunchy and moderately tender. And another thing I like: you can barely taste the vinegar or sugar. So give it a try—it's delicious. Jars keep for up to a year in a cool place.

    2. Pour boiling water over the vegetables three times, draining the water each time. Make the marinade — one tablespoon of salt and two of sugar per liter of water. Bring to a boil and pour over the vegetables.
