Description
Homemade preserves keep for a long time. To make lightly salted cucumbers, you don't have to make a marinade or can cucumbers in jars. If you're craving something salty, grab a zip-lock bag and get cooking! To make lightly salted cucumbers with garlic, you'll need crisp fresh cucumbers, garlic, dill, and salt. The batch is ready for winter storage.

Rinse, pat dry, and finely chop the dill.

Peel and also finely chop the garlic.

Thoroughly rinse the cucumbers, trim off their blossom ends, and place the vegetables in a clean resealable bag.

Add the dill and garlic to the cucumbers. Seal the bag and shake well. Refrigerate for 6–8 hours, shaking the bag occasionally.
