Lightly Salted Cucumbers
Description
The recipe won't take much time. I'll explain in more detail below. It can be served warm or chilled.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare all the ingredients.
- 2
Step 2

For the brine, dissolve the salt in cold boiled water. Stir thoroughly until it dissolves.
- 3
Step 3

Wash the cucumbers thoroughly. If you like, you can trim the ends on both sides, but I don't do that.
- 4
Step 4

Wash the dill, pat it dry, and cut it into several pieces along with the stems. Peel the garlic and slice it into thin slices. Cut off a couple of rings of hot pepper and remove the seeds.
- 5
Step 5

Prepare a clean container in which you will pickle the cucumbers. You can use a jar, a deep glass bowl, or a food container. Place some herbs, garlic, allspice, and hot pepper on the bottom.
- 6
Step 6

Then add some of the cucumbers.
- 7
Step 7

Add dill, garlic, and peppers on top.
- 8
Step 8

And arrange a second row of cucumbers.
- 9
Step 9

Pour cold brine over the cucumbers; it must completely cover them.
- 10
Step 10

If necessary, you can place some weight on top so they don't float. I cover the cucumbers with the lid from the bowl. Leave the cucumbers at room temperature for several hours, then refrigerate for 24 hours.
- 11
Step 11

Lightly salted cucumbers are ready—enjoy your meal!
