Description
A very simple and straightforward recipe for making small appetizer sandwiches. They are made from salmon, lettuce leaves, and cream cheese. The combination is so good that no other ingredients will be needed! This appetizer is perfect for a buffet or other festive occasion. Can be served warm or chilled.

Step 1
Slice the bread into slices and trim off the crust. Toast on both sides in a dry skillet.

Wash and dry the lettuce leaves. Slice the salmon thinly.

Spread cream cheese on the toasted slices. Roll the salmon into a roll and place it on the cheese.

Tear off the top part of the lettuce and roll it up the same way as the salmon. Place on the canapés.
