Pasta with processed cheese
Description
It's better to turn off the pasta when it's not yet fully softened. It shouldn't be hard, just slightly undercooked, as it will continue cooking while cooling down. This dish is simple—I'd even call it a lazy bachelor's meal. Everything turns out quick, easy, cheap, and satisfying.

Step 1

Bring water to a boil in a saucepan. It's better to use a tin pot rather than an enameled one. Salt the water. Add the pasta to the boiling water and cook until done.

Step 2

We mix the pasta. While they are boiling, we cut the processed cheese into pieces.

Step 3

Drain the cooked pasta in a colander or simply pour off the water, covering the pot with a lid. Be careful—steam can cause burns! Cut a piece of butter and add it to the hot pasta. Cover with a lid and shake gently. Add pieces of processed cheese.

Step 4

Divide the pasta among the plates. You can sprinkle with herbs, chopped garlic, or onion on top.
