Macaroni with cheese sauce
Description
The recipe won't take much time. To the question "Can I replace the processed cheese with another," I'd probably answer "no," but if you think carefully, you could substitute the processed cheese with soft cream cheese. The cost of the dish will triple, but the taste will still be just as good. Serve hot.

Step 1

Pour water into a saucepan. Place the saucepan with water over heat and bring to a boil. Add salt and pasta to the boiling water. Cook the pasta until done. While the pasta is cooking, place parsley, dill, cilantro, green onion (scallion tops), and a garlic clove into a blender.

Step 2

Pulse the herbs in a blender until pureed. Add a little salt and cream to the blender. Blend again.

Step 3

Step 5

Drain the cooked pasta in a colander and let the water drain off. Reserve 0.5 cup of the pasta water. Return the pasta to the pot. Add the butter and reserved water. Mix well.

Step 6

Place the sauced pasta onto a plate or dish. Top with several spoonfuls of the prepared cheese sauce. Serve the pasta with cheese sauce immediately. An excellent sauce—so delicious that you can't immediately tell which cheese it's made from. The texture is very delicate. Highly recommended to everyone!
