Pasta with sauce baked in the oven
Description
With this dish, you can let your imagination run wild. For example, in my family, macaroni with cheese and tomato paste is the kids' favorite meal. However, garlic and basil are not to their liking. Therefore, you can reduce the amount of spices either in the entire casserole or in a separate portion, so the younger ones can enjoy it too. All my relatives adore cheeses and their varieties. That's why my recipe includes three types of cheese. You, in turn, can adjust the recipe and leave only hard cheese, or just hard cheese and mozzarella. You can garnish the dish with fresh cherry tomatoes paired with a sprig of dill or parsley.
Instructions

Step 1

First, add the pasta to boiling water and cook until done. It's important not to overcook the pasta. Once the pasta is ready, drain it into a colander and add olive oil. Mix well and set aside. Place the minced meat onto a greased frying pan. You can choose any type of meat you prefer; I usually use pork or beef. Add a little salt and cook until the meat turns brown.

Step 2

Once the meat has turned brown, add the chopped onion. Sauté the meat with the onion until the onion becomes golden (4-5 minutes). Then add finely chopped garlic and the remaining spices: red pepper, basil, salt, black pepper, rosemary, and so on. You can choose the spices to your taste. Cook the mixture for about a minute. Then add the tomato sauce. Mix everything thoroughly. Bring to a boil and remove from heat.

Step 3

Preheat the oven to 190 degrees. Place a portion of the tomato sauce with minced meat on the bottom of the baking dish. On top of the sauce, spread half of the ricotta. The cheese should not cover the entire surface of the dish; place it randomly.

Step 4

On top of the filling and cheese, place the pasta. Spread them evenly over the surface of the dish.

Step 5

Pour the remaining sauce over the pasta. Top with the remaining ricotta. Generously sprinkle with grated mozzarella and hard cheese. Place in the oven.

Step 6

Bake the pasta for about 20 minutes at 190 degrees until the cheese melts and turns golden brown.
