
Baked pasta casserole
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. This casserole is essentially a simplified version of lasagna. Instead of sheets, rows of tubular pasta are used. Hence the name. See, the finished dish can be served at the table.

Fry the bacon in a pan and set it aside for now. Cook the pasta, then grate the cheese.

Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat. As soon as the butter has melted, add the flour and stir for a couple of minutes until it becomes thick and dense.

Add grated cheese and ground black pepper.

Stir the cheese until it melts. By this time, the pasta should already be cooked.

The bacon needs to be finely chopped.

Drain all the water from the pasta and mix it with the prepared cheese sauce.

Take a baking dish and fill it with the prepared macaroni and cheese to about one-third of its capacity.

Add a layer of bacon and cheese. Repeat this process with several more layers of pasta and cheese until the baking dish is completely filled to the top.
