Mayonnaise pie
Description
Perfectly pairs with tea and coffee. A very simple way to make a mayonnaise pie is to prepare a topping made of mayonnaise and grated cheese. For the filling, you can use either vegetables or meat. For example, instead of bacon, you can use chicken or other meat products. The more greens you add, the better—it gives the dish an incredible aroma. Serve with tea or coffee.
Instructions

Step 1
First, prepare the pie base. If you are using ready-made frozen dough, defrost it in advance and roll it out. Place the dough into the pan and trim the edges along the rim. Prick the dough with a fork to prevent it from puffing up during baking. Preheat the oven to 200°C. Bake the base for 10–12 minutes.

Step 2
While the base is baking, slice the tomatoes (you can use slices, rings, or half-rings), chop the herbs. Cut the bacon into strips (or cubes) and fry until crispy.

Step 3
Remove the base from the oven, let it cool slightly, and reduce the oven temperature to 175-180°C. Evenly spread the tomatoes over the base, season with salt and pepper, sprinkle with chopped herbs, and place the bacon on top.

Step 4
Mix mayonnaise and grated cheese in a bowl. Spread the resulting mixture over the top of the pie and bake in the oven for 30-35 minutes. If the pastry edges start to burn, cover them with foil.
