Moroccan pear pie
Description
Perfectly pairs with tea and coffee. This cake is very easy to prepare. The base is shortcrust pastry, which is made quickly and simply. On top comes a thick layer of almond-based nut filling, and the cake is finished with a layer of thinly sliced pears. While still hot, the cake is brushed with jam mixed with brandy, although, in my opinion, the jam can easily be replaced with honey. A very interesting and delicious pastry. Serve with tea or coffee.
