Jam Muffins
Description
The baking is simple and quick. My family loves all kinds of baked goods that can be enjoyed with tea, milk, or compote. That's why I try to bake something delicious every day or every other day—pies, rolls, buns, cookies, doughnuts, etc. This recipe can be served with tea or coffee.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare all the necessary ingredients. I use kefir with the lowest fat content. By the way, some people say that muffins turn out even more delicious when made with expired kefir, but I haven't tried it myself, so I won't recommend it.
- 2
Step 2

Beat the eggs with sugar using a whisk. There's no need to beat them into a strong foam; just mix the two ingredients together.
- 3
Step 3

Add kefir.
- 4
Step 4

Cut the margarine into small cubes and melt over a water bath, then add to the dough.
- 5
Step 5

Add the baking soda, neutralized with vinegar. Mix everything thoroughly until smooth.
- 6
Step 6

Start gradually adding the flour, constantly stirring with a spoon or whisk. With each addition of flour, it will become harder to stir, but the muffin batter should not become too thick.
- 7
Step 7

Place the dough into muffin molds, and put 1 tsp of jam on top of each.
- 8
Step 8

Bake the muffins in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 40-45 minutes. Serve with tea or compote.
