Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the ingredients for making flax.
- 2
Step 2

Pour the flax seeds with water and let them steep for 15–20 minutes. During this time, the seeds will swell and a gel will form—this is normal; the gel is water-soluble fiber.
- 3
Step 3

After the flax seeds have steeped, add salt and aromatic herbs.
- 4
Step 4

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, spread the flax seeds on it, and use a silicone spatula to spread them evenly over the entire surface. Bake at the lowest temperature for 40–50 minutes.
- 5
Step 5

After 40-50 minutes, remove the baking sheet from the oven.
- 6
Step 6

Turn the parchment over and carefully remove it, then bake on the other side for another 10–15 minutes.
- 7
Step 7

Once you have finally taken the flax crackers out of the oven, break them by hand into whatever shape you like. The flax crackers turned out unbelievably delicious—you can't stop eating them—so we decided to bake another batch.
- 8
Step 8

For the second batch of flax crackers, add 2 teaspoons of sesame seeds after the flax has soaked, at the moment you add the salt and aromatic herbs.
- 9
Step 9

Fully repeat the baking procedure.
- 10
Step 10

Flax crackers with added sesame turned out even tastier.
