Onion croutons for salads and soups

Description
It works for both special occasions and everyday meals. These croutons are a great addition to salads, soups, and broths. But as a stand-alone appetizer—they're just the thing! If you add a bit of hot pepper and salt, you'll get an excellent beer snack. I usually make salted croutons from wheat bread. Try it—it's very tasty. They can be served warm or chilled.
