Onion rings for beer
Description
Onion rings became a solid part of my life right after I managed to make them. I was surprised that such a simple dish had stayed out of my life for so many years. Somehow I didn’t take things like this seriously. And in vain! This is much better than chips, crackers, and French fries! Besides, I really love onions in any form. And when fried, their taste is much milder, while the aroma only opens up. Serve with herbs and sauce.
Instructions

Step 1

For this dish, white sharp onion works best. I have 3 large onions on hand. Peel them and slice into thick rings. Separate the rings by pulling them apart.

Step 2

Pour milk into a bowl. If yours is not very fresh, that is not a problem. Sour milk will also pair well with onion. Dip the rings into the milk. Add a few drops of Tabasco sauce.

Step 3

Pour a cup of flour into a separate dry bowl. Add the spices and salt to it. For spices, I use hot red pepper, black pepper, and paprika. Mix the flour with the spices.

Step 4

Onion rings soaked in milk are dipped in flour with salt and spices. Then we crumble white bread. Pour it into a separate bowl. Dip the rings in milk again and place them into the bread crumbs. This makes a double coating.

Step 5

To prepare onion rings, we will need a frying pan with high sides or a deep fryer. Pour vegetable oil into it so that the rings are almost submerged. Place the breaded rings into the hot oil. Fry on both sides until golden brown.

Step 6

I first place the fried onion rings on paper towels so the excess oil can drain off. After that, I serve the dish with ketchup. This appetizer will be a perfect addition to any party.
