Leek with meat
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. Once, while browsing the internet in search of a recipe using leek, I came across this very interesting recipe for leek with meat. I tried cooking it—it turned out delicious! The meat is tender and flavorful, and the leek complements it perfectly. Definitely worth trying. Serve the finished dish at the table.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Wash the leek, remove the green leaves, and cut into 3 cm thick pieces. Place in a greased baking dish.
- 2
Step 2

Heat the remaining oil in a skillet and sauté the onion in it. When the onion turns golden, add the ground meat (you can also add pieces of whole meat if desired).

Step 3

When the meat is slightly browned, develops a crust and darkens, add broth, tomato paste, and spices to the pan. If you don't have broth, you can simply add a little water. Bring the sauce to a boil.

Step 4

Pour the boiling sauce over the leek. Place in an oven preheated to 190 degrees and bake for 1 hour.

Step 5

Leek with meat (in this case, minced meat, though you can just as well use whole pieces of meat) is ready! Serve hot.
