Best French Toast

Description

It works for both special occasions and everyday meals. Choose thick slices of bread so they don't fall apart when frying. Serve French toast with butter, honey, maple syrup, or jam. If you can, dip the bread in the egg mixture and leave it overnight or for a day. Serve the toast hot, straight from the pan.

   1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, cinnamon, and milk, then pour the mixture into a wide dish that will be easy to dip the bread into. Heat a skillet with butter, dip the bread on both sides in the egg mixture, let the bread absorb it slightly, then shake off the excess and place it in the skillet.
