
Quiche Lorraine
Description
Homemade baked goods for tea. Lorraine quiche is very easy and quick to make, not counting the time the dough spends in the refrigerator and the oven. Very tasty, filling, fragrant, and appealing baked goods. It pairs well with tea, coffee, as well as with broths and any first courses. The baked goods are ready. Serve at the table.

Prepare the ingredients for making quiche.

Pour salt and flour into the bowl.

Add cold butter, cut into pieces.

Using a fork or blender, make crumbs from the flour and butter.

Pour icy water into a bowl and knead the dough. Chill it for 30–40 minutes.

While the dough is chilling, prepare the pie filling. Slice the onion and place it in the skillet.

Add the sliced bacon.

Sauté the bacon with the onion for 5–6 minutes.

Prepare the filling. Crack the eggs into a bowl and pour in the cream.

Add grated cheese and mix all ingredients.

Place the cold dough in a baking pan. Form a rim from the dough along the sides.

Arrange the bacon and onion on the bottom of the dough.

Bake the pie in an oven preheated to 175–180 °C for 30–35 minutes until the crust is golden.
