Instructions
- 1
Step 1
Grate the zest of half a lemon using a fine grater.
- 2
Step 2
Mix all the spices, salt, sugar, and lemon zest together.
- 3
Step 3
Rinse the fish thoroughly under cold water and dry it with a paper towel.
- 4
Step 4
Generously rub the fish with spices so that it absorbs them well, taking on the flavor of each one.
- 5
Step 5
Let the steak sit for about 20 minutes at room temperature so it has time to marinate.
- 6
Step 6
Line a baking sheet with foil. Grease it with olive or any other vegetable oil.
- 7
Step 7
Place the salmon pieces on top, drizzling them with olive oil and lemon juice.
- 8
Step 8
Preheat the oven to 250 degrees and place the baking sheet with fish inside. Cover the fish with foil on top as well. Approach this step carefully, because if the fish is not tightly wrapped, the juice will leak out and the salmon will turn out dry.
- 9
Step 9
Bake for 10 minutes. The salmon should turn out to be a tender orange color with a golden tint and a fragrant aroma of spices.
