Braised salmon
Description
The recipe won't take much time. To prepare stewed salmon, I suggest you keep it simple and braise it in white wine. Just avoid cheap, flavorless wine, as it will only ruin the fish. A dry white wine is a good choice. Serve hot.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Cut the salmon into small pieces.
- 2
Step 2

Slice the onion into half-rings. Heat a frying pan, add butter, and sauté the onion until soft and golden brown.

Step 3

Place the fish in a single layer on top of the onion. Slice the garlic, add parsley, and you can also add a bit of celery root.
- 4
Step 4

Pour in the wine to cover the fish. Add spices to taste.

Step 5

The fish should simmer for about 20–25 minutes. Then set it aside on a plate and prepare the sauce using the wine in which the fish was cooked. To do this, heat flour in a skillet, add butter, stir, then pour in one to one and a half ladles of the cooking liquid.

Step 6

Stirring, cook the sauce until it thickens. You can serve the braised salmon with rice.
