Salmon with Chinese cabbage and wasabi
Description
This recipe won't take much time. In a blender, combine mayonnaise, cilantro, lime juice, wasabi, ginger, and 1 tablespoon of water. Blend until smooth, adding up to 2 more tablespoons of water. Blend for about 3 minutes. Season with salt and pepper, then set aside. In a large skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Season salmon with salt and pepper and place it in the skillet, flat side up. Cook for 3 to 4 minutes per side. Transfer to a plate and cover with aluminum foil to keep warm. Wipe the skillet with a paper towel. Add mirin wine and soy sauce, bring to a boil over medium heat. Add bok choy, season with salt and pepper. Cover and cook until tender, for 3 to 5 minutes; drain off excess liquid. Pour wasabi sauce over the salmon and serve with bok choy. Serve hot.
