Salmon with sauce
Description
Salmon with sauce is a simple-to-prepare dish that looks very impressive—in fact, I'd even call it festive. It takes no more than half an hour to make, and requires minimal effort from you. Yet the result is truly exquisite—properly cooked salmon with the right sauce is something you wouldn't hesitate to serve even to your most esteemed and demanding guests.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Preheat the oven to the highest temperature together with the baking sheet. Season the salmon fillet with salt and pepper, coat with sunflower oil, and place on the hot baking sheet.
- 2
Step 2

Place the fish in a preheated oven. Reduce the temperature to 250 degrees and bake the fish for 12-15 minutes.
- 3
Step 3

While the fish is baking in the oven, melt 1/2 tablespoon of butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add shallots and garlic. Season with salt and pepper to taste. When the onions turn golden, pour in a glass of dry white wine, then add lemon juice.

Step 4

Simmer until the amount of liquid is reduced by half. Then add one tablespoon of butter at a time, whisking gently. The sauce will gradually begin to thicken.

Step 5

Add parsley to the finished sauce and pour it over the salmon fillet.
