Bacon, Egg, and Cheese Boats
Description
Perfect for the table and for drinks. As "boats," you can use any buns—these can be plain or enriched; hot dog buns work especially well. After baking, they are soft and tender inside, with a crispy, fragrant crust. Watch. Serve the appetizer at the table.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the ingredients. The buns should be fresh, and you can add any spices you like—I prefer black aromatic pepper. Let's get started!
- 2
Step 2

Fry the bacon pieces over high heat with salt. Cut them into small cubes. It's better to do this when the bacon is done—remember, it shrinks as it cooks!
- 3
Step 3

Wash the green onions, pat dry, and slice into rings. Grate the cheese on a coarse grater. Mix the bacon with the grated cheese and green onions.
- 4
Step 4

With a sharp small knife, cut out the centers of the buns, forming boats.
- 5
Step 5

Mix the eggs with milk. If desired, add your favorite spices and salt.
- 6
Step 6

Add grated cheese with bacon and herbs to the egg mixture. Mix thoroughly.
- 7
Step 7

Fill the boat-shaped buns with the filling and place them in the oven for 20–25 minutes (temperature — 180–190 degrees).

Step 8

Boats with bacon, egg and cheese are ready! Serve hot!
