Zucchini boats with pear
Description
The recipe won't take much time. I would also call this dessert: "Pear Crumble in Zucchini." Tender pear and cinnamon filling with a crunchy cookie crumb topping... all nestled in a soft zucchini boat. This dessert is truly original and unusual. But just try it, and you'll definitely want to make it again! For now, check out the recipe. Serve chilled.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare all the necessary ingredients.
- 2
Step 2

Cut the pear into small cubes without peeling.
- 3
Step 3

Melt half of the butter in a skillet, add the pear, and let it soften slightly. Then add half of the sugar and cook, stirring frequently, for about 10–12 minutes, until the pear becomes tender and caramelized. The aroma will be absolutely wonderful.

Step 4

Crush the cookies into crumbs and repeat the same procedure as with the pear. Melt the butter, add the cookie crumbs to it, and sprinkle in the sugar. Cook for a couple of minutes, stirring constantly, until the crumbs are lightly toasted.
- 5
Step 5

Cut the zucchini in half lengthwise, and with a teaspoon remove the pulp, leaving the walls about 5 mm thick.
- 6
Step 6

Fill the boats with pear filling.
- 7
Step 7

Sprinkle cookie crumbs on top.
- 8
Step 8

Bake the zucchini boats in the oven at 180 degrees for 15-20 minutes. Serve the dessert either hot or cold. A cup of hot coffee and a scoop of ice cream go perfectly with it.
