Description

Perfect for the table and with drinks. Lobio made from green beans can be prepared in different ways. One of the quick methods is using a multicooker. Thanks to such modern equipment, the cooking process for any culinary masterpiece is cut down dramatically. Walnuts will be the highlight of the lobio, adding a special piquancy to the dish. The appetizer is ready. Serve immediately.

    Step 1

    1. Lobio can be served as a side dish, a main course, or an appetizer. It is easy to make; the main thing is to prepare the key ingredient correctly—asparagus. We will start with that. So, we clean the string beans, wash them, trim off the unwanted parts, and put water on to boil.

    2. After cutting the asparagus, put it in boiling water. The water should be lightly salted.

    3. Meanwhile, bring water to a boil for dipping the tomatoes into. This is done so that their skins come off easily.

    4. Peel the tomatoes and dice them. If you don’t have time to bother with peeling, you can leave the tomatoes as they are.

    5. Chop the onion and add it to the multicooker pot to sauté.

    6. In a blender, grind the walnuts. They are what will give the lobio its interesting and piquant aroma.

    7. Add the tomatoes and pressed garlic to the onions. After 5 minutes of frying, add the chopped nuts and fry until done.

    8. At the very end, add finely chopped hot pepper. "Ogonyok" works best. Use it to taste.

    9. Rinse the cooked beans through a colander, and when all the vegetables are ready, add them. Pour in several multicooker cups of water or broth and select the "Stew" mode. Don't forget to add Georgian seasonings—they will make the dish more flavorful. Serve at the table in individual portions or in salad bowls (if you made green bean lobio in a multicooker at home for a festive table).
