Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare all necessary ingredients. If you don't have flaxseed flour, grind flax seeds in a coffee grinder until they have the consistency of flour.
- 2
Step 2

Put linseed meal into a suitable container and add spices. You can choose the spices to taste.
- 3
Step 3

Add salt and vegetable oil.
- 4
Step 4

Pour in boiling water and quickly stir the dough with a spoon. Let it cool for a couple of minutes.
- 5
Step 5

When the dough is no longer very hot, knead it and shape it into a ball.
- 6
Step 6

Divide the dough into 4-5 parts. Place a small circle of dough on a sheet of parchment.
- 7
Step 7

Cover with a second sheet of parchment paper and roll out into a thin round.
- 8
Step 8

To make perfectly round tortillas, use a plate or a pan lid of a suitable diameter. Trim off the protruding edges of the dough. Gather the dough scraps — you can roll out one more flatbread from them.
- 9
Step 9

Preheat a frying pan over medium heat. Arrange the flatbreads in the pan and fry for 1–2 minutes, then turn them over and cook for about another minute.
- 10
Step 10

Prepare all the flatbreads this way. To keep them soft, stack them on a plate while they are still hot and cover them with a towel.
- 11
Step 11

Serve the flatbreads cold.
