Pilaf kofta with millet and nuts

Description

Bad weather is no reason to give up your favorite dishes just because they're meant to be cooked over a campfire. You can still make delicious and juicy lyulya-kebabs at home, right in your kitchen, using an oven. Let's deviate slightly from traditional recipes and add millet to the kebab meat mixture.     Chop the nuts into fine crumbs.

    Finely chop the onion, and it's better to press the garlic through a garlic press.

    Add onion, garlic, and nuts to the minced meat (I used beef). Also add previously boiled millet.

    Now add finely chopped herbs, salt, cumin, olive oil, and ground black pepper.

    And mix thoroughly, then beat the meat mixture. Let it sit in the refrigerator for 20–30 minutes. Meanwhile, don't forget to soak the wooden skewers in water.

    Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and start shaping the kofta kebabs. Bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees Celsius for 15 minutes on one side, then flip and bake for another 15 minutes on the other side.
