Pork Lyulya-kebab on Skewers
Description
The recipe won't take much time. I'm not claiming it to be classic—I'll show you my version of kofta. The main difference is that I don't use any extra fat or bacon, just a piece of pork passed through the meat grinder and that's it. You can add your favorite spices or chopped herbs to the mince if desired. Serve hot.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the ingredients.
- 2
Step 2

Rinse the meat and pat it dry. Use a meat grinder to prepare the minced meat.
- 3
Step 3

Slice the onion.
- 4
Step 4

Salt and pepper to taste.
- 5
Step 5

Mix the meat base and transfer it to a large bowl. The next important step is beating the minced meat. To do this, toss the meat upward and forcefully drop it back into the bowl.
- 6
Step 6

Pound the meat mixture for 10 minutes, no less! Then send it to the refrigerator to "rest".
- 7
Step 7

Pinch off a piece of the filling, roll it into a small patty-like shape. Place it on the skewer and spread it out, forming sausage-like shapes on the skewers.
- 8
Step 8

Place the skewers on the grill with intense heat, but without flames.
- 9
Step 9

Fry for about 5 minutes without flipping. Then carefully turn over and brown the other side.
- 10
Step 10

Pork lyulya-kebab on skewers is hearty and very delicious.
