Step 1

Prepare the listed ingredients. Be sure to collect the linden 2-3 days in advance and dry it in the sun to remove essential oils from the flowers.
- 2
Step 2

Place the linden flowers in a saucepan or pot and pour water over them. You can use boiled water.
- 3
Step 3

Add the granulated sugar and place the container on the stove. Boil the mixture for 10 minutes.
- 4
Step 4

Strain everything through a sieve or double-layered cheesecloth.
- 5
Step 5

Chill the prepared linden tea in the cold for about 1 hour. Pour in the lemon juice and mix.
- 6
Step 6

Pour in high-quality vodka and mix well. Transfer to a tall bottle, preferably a dark one, and seal with a cork. Store the tincture in a dark, cool place, shaking it every 2–3 days.
- 7
Step 7

After 15 days, the tincture will be ready. You can let it steep for a longer period, but you must definitely try it!
- 8
Step 8

Taste the tincture and add a little sugar if necessary. The tincture will change its color during aging, becoming slightly darker.
