Linzertorte

Description

I like this Linzer torte recipe for its versatility—I use regular walnuts instead of hazelnuts or almonds, as called for in the original recipe, and rhubarb can easily be replaced with apples or any other fruits. By the way, keep in mind that rhubarb is quite sour and tart, so we add quite a lot of sugar to the filling. However, if you're making a Linzer torte at home with oranges, for example, you should definitely reduce the amount of sugar. In short, feel free to experiment, because now you know too.
