Lemon pie with figs

Description

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Grease a baking pan with oil. In a bowl, whisk together butter, milk, and eggs; set aside. In a large bowl, mix together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt; add the milk mixture and stir until just combined. Do not overmix! Fold in figs and lemon zest. Pour the batter into the prepared pan. Bake until golden, 35 to 40 minutes. Let cool for about 15 minutes. Slice before serving. Store in a plastic bag at room temperature for up to 1 day.
