Thoroughly wash the lemons, place them in a saucepan, and cover with water. Cover with a lid, bring to a boil, then reduce the heat. Simmer the lemons over low heat for about 2 hours. Put a small saucer in the freezer. After just 1.5 hours, you'll see that the lemons have become very soft and can be mashed with a fork.

Soften the lemons and remove all the seeds. Place them in a saucepan with water (1 - 1.5 liters). Add all the sugar. Cook, stirring, for about 40 minutes. It can be less. I cook for 40 minutes to achieve a caramel color. Take a small plate from the freezer, put a spoonful of marmalade on it; if it doesn't spread, the lemon marmalade is ready! Pour into sterilized jars and seal.
