
Lemon cookies with kefir
Description
Any beginner cook can make lemon cookies with kefir. The dough work is minimal, and the result is very worthy. The cookies are fragrant and very tasty, and will please both children and adults. They can be served with tea, coffee, or a glass of cold milk. They can be served with tea or coffee.

Prepare all the ingredients.

Combine the softened butter and sugar. Mash everything with a fork until smooth.

Add kefir, salt, and baking soda.

Stir and add the flour in batches.

Knead a soft and elastic dough that doesn’t stick to your hands.

Roll out the dough into a rectangle, 2–3 mm thick. on a butter‑greased surface. Brush the dough with vegetable oil, sprinkle with sugar to taste and lemon zest.

Roll the sheet into a log and pinch it at the seam.

Slice the roll into pieces 2–3 cm wide and transfer the portions onto a parchment‑lined baking sheet. Press each little roll gently with your hands on top. Bake in the oven at 180 °C until lightly browned.
