
Layered flatbreads
Description
Perfect with tea and coffee. The flaky flatbreads that are fried in a pan turn out very tasty. They will help diversify your breakfast. These flatbreads can be sprinkled with sugar, or you can also make them with onion.

1. Let's make the dough. Sift the flour. Dissolve the yeast in warm water. Add salt and flour. Knead a soft dough and place it in a warm spot. About an hour will be needed for the dough to rise. Roll out the dough. You need a very thin sheet of dough. Melt butter and thoroughly brush the entire dough.

2. Now you need to wrap the dough around a long, thin rolling pin into a roll. Slice along the rolling pin and remove the rolling pin.

3. Cut the dough into 3–4 long strips. Roll each strip into circles, and pinch the ends of the strips so they don’t open.

4. Lightly press the flatbreads, roll them not too thin but to the size of the pan. To let the flatbreads “rise,” leave them for 15 minutes.

5. Fry the flatbreads in vegetable oil over medium heat on both sides until a golden crust forms. You can add sliced and rinsed onion to the dough together with the oil. The result will be tasty onion flatbreads.
