
Flatbreads with onions and cheese
Description
Delicious baked treats for the whole family. A delightful and quick recipe for making flatbreads. Best of all, they turn out incredibly tasty, can be easily frozen, and simply reheated before serving. Serve cooled or slightly warm.

Step 1

1. Finely chop the onion. Grate the Cheddar cheese. Grate the Parmesan cheese. Lightly beat the eggs (mix yolk and white). Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Sift the flour. In a large bowl, mix the flour, salt, mustard powder, and cayenne pepper, adding black pepper to taste. Add the butter and mix thoroughly until small lumps form.

2. Fry the onion in vegetable oil for approximately 5-6 minutes, or until golden brown. Stir occasionally to prevent burning. Transfer to a plate and let cool.

3. To the bowl with the dough, add the cooled onions and two-thirds of the grated Parmesan and Cheddar, mix well. Add the eggs and knead the dough. Add a few tablespoons of milk to make the dough soft.

4. Place the dough on a lightly floured work surface and roll out to a thickness of 2 cm.

5. Using a special round cutter or a glass, cut out rounds from the dough. Grease a baking sheet. Place the dough rounds onto the baking sheet and put into a preheated oven. Bake at 200 degrees for approximately 12 minutes, or until the rounds are golden brown. Transfer to a serving dish and serve.
