
Blueberry flatbreads
Description
Homemade baked treats for tea. These wonderful flatbreads will surely become the family's favorite breakfast treat. Preparation takes only 25 minutes. Serve cooled or slightly warm.

1. In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Cut the butter into pieces and add to the flour mixture. Mix until the mixture resembles crumbs.

2. Add the blueberries and gently mix, being careful not to crush the berries.

3. In a measuring cup, whisk together the eggs, milk, and vanilla extract. Add the egg mixture to the dry ingredients and stir with a fork until a smooth batter forms. If desired, you can add finely grated lemon zest to the batter at this stage.

4. Place the dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead 5 or 6 times. Shape the dough into a disc. Using a brush, lightly coat the top with a small amount of milk. You can skip this step if you prefer lower-calorie baked goods.

5. Sprinkle the dough with the topping prepared by mixing all the ingredients. Cut the dough into 8 triangles.

6. Bake the flatbreads in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for 18-20 minutes on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
