Pan-fried flatbreads made with water and flour

Prepare all the ingredients.

Sift the flour into a deep bowl. Add a pinch of salt and mix.

Pour in hot water.

Carefully begin kneading the dough. At first it is easier to mix with a spatula or spoon, then with your hands.

Roll the dough into a ball, cover with plastic wrap, and leave for 10–15 minutes at room temperature.

Divide the dough into balls.

Roll each one out into a thin flatbread. To keep the flatbreads from puffing up, prick them with a fork.

Heat a frying pan over medium heat and lightly grease it with vegetable oil. Fry the flatbreads until golden on both sides.
