
Kystybai flatbreads
Description
The baking is simple and quick. Kystybai pancakes are just a base made from unleavened dough. Traditionally, the filling is potato, but it can also be millet or corn flour. Personally, I don't particularly like plain dough, so I add a couple more eggs. For making kystybai pancakes, it's also better to use milk (again, according to your taste). I decided to prepare pancakes with potatoes. Let's look at the recipe. They can be served with tea or coffee.

Knead the dough (add sugar, salt, melted butter, and eggs to the milk, mix, then gradually add flour). You can put the potatoes to boil while you prepare the dough and shape the flatbreads.

Fry the pancakes until golden brown.

Don't forget about the potatoes: mash them and add lightly fried onions. While the flatbreads are still hot, place the filling on one half.
