Description

Perfectly pairs with tea and coffee. With the listed ingredients, I made 6 flatbreads. Of course, the number depends on the size of each one. These flatbreads are delicious served with sour cream. They're something between lavash and a kind of khachapuri, although there's no cheese at all. Give it a try! Good luck with your cooking. Can be served with tea or coffee.

Instructions

  1. 1

    Step 1

    Step 1

Sift the wheat flour into a bowl. Add a teaspoon of salt and mix.

  2. 2

    Step 2

    Step 2

Pour a glass of boiling water and knead the dough. At first, mix with a fork or spoon, then you can knead by hand once the dough has cooled slightly.

  3. 3

    Step 3

    Step 3

Pour in the vegetable oil and knead the dough again.

  4. 4

    Step 4

    Step 4

We'll get a warm little dough ball like this. It's ready to work with right away.

  5. 5

    Step 5

    Step 5

    Divide it into several parts.

  6. 6

    Step 6

    Step 6

Roll out each piece of dough into a sausage-like shape like this.

  7. 7

    Step 7

    Step 7

Roll out the sausage with a rolling pin.

  8. 8

    Step 8

    Step 8

Finely chop the herbs. Mince the garlic. Mix the herbs with the garlic. Place a small amount of the herb mixture onto a strip of dough.

  9. 9

    Step 9

    Step 9

Join the two edges of the dough and pinch them together. Release the air carefully so that it does not tear the dough.

  10. 10

    Step 10

    Step 10

Roll the strip of dough into a spiral.

  11. 11

    Step 11

    Step 11

Use your fingers or a rolling pin to roll out the dough as thin as possible. Do not tear the dough, otherwise the greens will leak out. When frying, such greens will burn.

  12. 12

    Step 12

    Step 12

Toast the flatbreads on a dry skillet on both sides. Cook the flatbreads on a dry skillet. If there's too much oil in the skillet, the flatbreads will turn out completely different. To prevent the flatbreads from sticking, I heated the skillet thoroughly first, then brushed it lightly with vegetable oil using a brush, and proceeded to cook the flatbreads. I did not oil the skillet again after that.
