Description

Homemade baked goods for tea. This is a truly simple recipe for suzuguni cheese flatbread cooked in a pan, and it's also quite quick. The whole process will take no more than 15 minutes. 1. First, sift the flour into a deep bowl. 2. Add salt and sugar. 3. Grate the cheese on a medium grater and add it to the flour. Mix gently. 4. Add baking soda to the kefir—there's no need to activate it; the kefir will do all the work. 5. Pour the kefir into the bowl in a thin stream, continuously stirring. You should end up with soft dough that doesn't stick to your hands. If desired, you can add aromatic spices or fresh herbs to the recipe. 6. Divide the prepared dough into 4-5 portions, depending on the size of your frying pan. 7. Roll each portion out on a work surface, but not too thin, so the flatbreads don't become dry. 8. Heat a small amount of vegetable oil, then fry the suzuguni flatbreads in a pan at home until golden brown on both sides. The result is delicious, so be sure to try making this recipe in your own kitchen. Serve warm or cooled. Perfect with tea.
