
Lazy Adjarian Khachapuri with Cottage Cheese

Prepare all the necessary ingredients.

Let's make the dough. Put the cottage cheese in a bowl and add salt to taste.

Beat 1 chicken egg and 2 egg whites into the cottage cheese. Mix the cottage cheese thoroughly with the eggs. Set aside 2 egg yolks.

Add sifted flour and baking powder.

Knead a soft dough.

Wet your hands with water, divide the dough into 2 equal parts and shape “boats”. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for 15–20 minutes, until golden brown.

Grate the cheese on a fine grater.

Take out the golden-brown bases, sprinkle with cheese, and return to the oven for another 3–5 minutes. Then remove and carefully place one egg yolk in the centre of each. Bake in the oven for another 1–2 minutes.
