Lazy dumplings with meat
Description
The recipe won't take much time. It's perfect when you don't have time to stand by the stove for long, yet need to feed your family quickly, deliciously, and heartily. Of course, this assumes the dough has been prepared in advance and only needs to be boiled before serving. You can add garlic, mushrooms, or any seasonal vegetables to the filling—there's plenty of room for creativity here. Even though the recipe is lazy, the result is incredibly tasty! Give it a try. Serve hot.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

The dough should be prepared in advance. You can make it specifically for this purpose, or you can use leftover dough from making dumplings, manty, or vareniki. Any dumpling dough can be used. I do it this way — I combine egg, salt, water, and vegetable oil. I beat everything with a fork and, gradually adding flour in portions, knead a soft dough.

Step 2

Roll out the ready-made dough and cut it into strips, diamonds, squares, or any shape you like. The thickness can be anything you prefer; I like it thinner.
- 3
Step 3

Dry the finished dough in the oven at 100 degrees until completely dry. The finished blanks can be stored in a dry, dark place in a bag or jar until needed.
- 4
Step 4

When you have these prepared components ready, all that's left is to prepare the remaining ingredients, and in just half an hour, your lazy dumplings will be ready to serve.
- 5
Step 5

Boil the prepared items in salted boiling water until fully cooked, then drain in a colander or sieve.
- 6
Step 6

Meanwhile, sauté the onion, finely diced, in a skillet until soft.
- 7
Step 7

Add the minced meat, salt, and your favorite spices to the onion. Fry everything together until fully cooked.
- 8
Step 8

Add the boiled dough pieces, mix and heat everything together for a few minutes.
- 9
Step 9

At the end, add any fresh herbs.

Lazy meat dumplings are ready.
