Lazy dumplings - roses
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. These dumplings are called "lazy" because they don't need to be individually shaped, although some time is still required to roll out the dough and form the dumplings into little rose shapes. Like regular dumplings, these can be frozen in advance. There aren't any particular difficulties in preparation, but the key is to roll the dough very thin. Give it a try—it's delicious. Serve the finished dish immediately.

Prepare the ingredients for making lazy dumplings.
- 2
Step 2

Take any ground meat you prefer. Peel the onion, wash it, and finely chop or blend it in a blender. Add to the minced meat.
- 3
Step 3

Season the minced meat with salt to taste and mix thoroughly. You can optionally add pepper.
- 4
Step 4

Prepare dumpling dough. Put flour into a bowl.
- 5
Step 5

Add salt and sunflower oil.
- 6
Step 6

Pour in the water.
- 7
Step 7

Knead a firm but sufficiently elastic dough. Let it rest for 20 minutes, then you can start working with it.
- 8
Step 8

Roll out the dough thinly. Cut into strips 6-7 cm wide and 12-15 cm long.
- 9
Step 9

Place the filling in the middle of each strip.
- 10
Step 10

Seal the edges of the dough by pressing with your fingers all around the sides.
- 11
Step 11

Roll the dough with the filling into a rose shape.
- 12
Step 12

These are the dumpling-roses you get.
- 13
Step 13

Boil the dumplings. Bring water to a boil, add a little salt, and place the dumplings into the boiling water. Stir gently to prevent them from sticking to the bottom. Cook the dumplings for 7-8 minutes after they float to the surface. Serve hot with chicken broth. Very delicious!

Step 14

Serve the rose-shaped dumplings with sour cream, butter, or broth, as I did.
