Lazy cabbage rolls with rice and minced meat
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. I cook it in a multicooker and don't fry the cabbage roll portions in a pan. Therefore, my dish turns out to be diet-friendly, filling, and healthy. However, if you prefer and like to, you can pre-fry the meat portions. Enjoy cooking! The ready dish can now be served.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Boil the rice, drain the water, and rinse it with cold water.
- 2
Step 2

Chop the onion and carrot. Sauté them in heated vegetable oil until golden.
- 3
Step 3

Shred the cabbage finely and cut it into small cubes.
- 4
Step 4

Mix the ground meat, rice, onion, carrot, cabbage, and egg. Add salt and pepper. Thoroughly mix the stuffing for cabbage rolls.
- 5
Step 5

Form patties from the resulting mince.
- 6
Step 6

Dip the semi-finished products for lazy cabbage rolls into boiling water for a minute. After this, they will not fall apart during simmering.
- 7
Step 7

In our family, we love stewed cabbage, so I shred another half of the cabbage head and place it under the cabbage rolls as a "pillow." Of course, you can skip this step—it all depends on your diners' preferences.
- 8
Step 8

Add tomato juice, sour cream, and set the "Stewing" mode for 40 minutes. Serve lazy cabbage rolls hot.
