Lazy Chebureki with Kefir and Minced Meat
Description
Tasty pastry for the whole family. Make the dough for lazy chebureks using kefir with added eggs, baking soda, and flour. For the filling use any ground meat; I used pork. You can also use chicken or beef mince, to your taste. Serve warm or chilled. Perfect with tea.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare all the ingredients.
- 2
Step 2

Pour the room-temperature kefir into a bowl, add the baking soda and stir. Let the mixture stand for a couple of minutes so that the soda is fully neutralized.
- 3
Step 3

Beat a chicken egg into the dough and mix well.
- 4
Step 4

Add the sifted flour.
- 5
Step 5

Mix the batter; in consistency it will be like pancake batter—thick but not runny.
- 6
Step 6

Pour a couple of spoonfuls of oil into a pan, heat over medium heat, add a couple of spoonfuls of dough, spread it with a spoon, and add the minced meat. Fry in this manner for a couple of minutes.
- 7
Step 7

Fold half of the dough to enclose the filling. Fry the chebureks on both sides for another couple of minutes. In this way fry all the chebureks.
- 8
Step 8

Serve the ready chebureks immediately at the table.
- 9
Step 9

Remove from the oven and serve warm or cooled.
