Light sponge cake
Description
The baking process is simple and quick. This sponge cake makes an excellent base for any homemade cake or other dessert. The main secret to proper baking is not to open the oven until the cake is fully baked. After baking, transfer the sponge cake onto a wire rack and let it cool completely. Ideally, leave it overnight — then it will be simply amazing. The baking is ready. Serve at the table.
